Our Mission

The association’s mission is to promote the efficient, effective and safe use of refined bitumen in road, industrial and building applications throughout Europe. Eurobitume aims to provide clarity on technical issues relating to the European bitumen industry; acting as its voice and acknowledged focal point.

 
 

Latest news

  • Bitumen in service (in the road, on the roof, ... ) is an inert material and represents no hazard to human health. During its storage, transportation and application it is heated to high temperatures so, for those working with bitumen, hazards do exist, although these can be easily managed.
