Jointly organised by Eurobitume and EAPA, the inaugural E&E Event 2018 is centred around professionally-facilitated sessions using debates, workshops and information exchanges, supported by online tools that enable delegates to have their own say. It provides a unique opportunity for bitumen and asphalt industry stakeholders and experts to share thoughts and discuss ideas about how to prepare our industry to meet future challenges.
The provisional programme details the six strategically-important issues for the future of the industry which will be addressed:
- Tomorrow’s World, tomorrow’s Roads, tomorrow’s Asphalt!
- Financing Solutions for Roads
- Sustainability - Reducing CO2 emissions
- Health & Safety best practices and future requirements
- Technology – What are the challenges for implementation?
- Communication – How to attract new recruits
Day one, Thursday 14 June, the event commences at 10.00 with registration, coffee and exhibition. Session One - Tomorrow’s World, tomorrow’s Roads, tomorrow’s Asphalt - starts at 11:00.
On day two, the event gets underway earlier, with Session Four – Health & Safety best practices and future requirements - starting at 08:30. The Conclusions & Closing is at 14:30 – 14:45.
