The role of the Public Relations and Communications (PRC) Committee is to provide internal and external communication support and advice to help Eurobitume fulfil its vision and mission.

The PRC works with the Board of Directors and the Technical and HSE Committees to maximise the clarity and reach of their important messages about bitumen. It is responsible for association and committee communications with members, industry stakeholders and potential members, and highlights the value of membership.

Monthly e-newsletter

The latest updates directly to your mailbox

One of the PRC’s first initiatives in 2019 was launching a new monthly e-newsletter in English, French and German, which gives subscribers a quick summary of the latest Eurobitume technical and HSE guidance, information about Eurobitume events and details from our local representations. Going deeper into bitumen issues

The PRC continued to co-ordinate the development of both Eurobitume-related news stories and more detailed feature articles for the website. The web features are very often focused on issues highlighted in our technical and HSE committees.

Highlighting our network

Successful collaborations with partners and stakeholders are critical to Eurobitume’s success. During 2019, PRC restructured the Partner Organisations page on our website to more clearly highlight these partnerships and we ran a social media campaign to celebrate these partnerships

The PRC manages Eurobitume’s media presence and during 2019 ensured that the voice of the European bitumen industry was heard in a wide selection of media outlets, both within and outside Europe. It also manages the publication of asphalt now in the UK and Bitume Info in France.
