E&E Congress 2024: Review of technical papers from 27 countries underway

We are pleased to confirm paper submission is closed and the review process is now underway.

We received papers from 27 countries, including one from the Eurobitume Technical Committee (‘Specifications, Test Methods and Data – A Eurobitume Perspective’), which offer many interesting insights across the topics related to the overall “Resilience – Sustainability – Innovation” theme of the 8th E&E Congress.

Each paper will be reviewed by at least two members of the E&E Congress 2024 Paper Review Committee, which includes more than 100 industry experts who generously volunteered to review the papers against the following criteria:

 

  • Technical content (or technical quality)
  • Clarity and rigour
  • The scientific and technical value
  • Level of originality and/or innovation

Conformity to the Authors Instructions The E&E Congress 2024 Technical Programme Committee will then consider the feedback and make recommendations on:

  • Papers to accept. All accepted papers will be published in the Congress Proceedings.
  • Papers that could be presented orally by the authors during the Congress sessions.

In parallel to the review process, a final programme for E&E Congress 2024 is being developed.
