2021 Member Survey results

Europe |

Once again the annual Eurobitume Member Survey showed that overall there was a high level of satisfaction among members, with approximately 85% saying they felt involved enough within Eurobitume activities.

HSE material (top) and Technical material (equal second) remained as the top two deliverables of added value for members, with Involvement in committees this time increasing to joint second ranking.

Conducted during the summer, the latest survey also revealed that the top three areas members wanted to see developed between 2022-2026 were:

  1. Communication to politicians and policy makers
  2. Educational material for external use
  3. Providing internal training for members (this replaced Focus on general public)

There was significant feedback on Sustainability as an area of future focus for Eurobitume and many comments were received on ideas for education and training activities.

General Meetings remain the top activity for gaining member involvement and there was a significant increase for Working within Task Forces in this category.

Eurobitume Director General Siobhan McKelvey presented a summary of the Member Survey results to members at the recent Autumn Meeting.
