ATPC joins Eurobitume

Antwerp Terminal and Processing Company (ATPC), owner of one of the largest dedicated bitumen processing plants in Europe, is the latest organisation to join Eurobitume.

VTTI affiliate ATPC became a member of Eurobitume - the voice of the bitumen industry in Europe - in early March, less than six months after Italian oil group api and vertically integrated midstream and downstream oil group Puma Energy joined in October 2015.

“Joining Eurobitume has given us valuable access to a wealth of technical and HSE information, and provides excellent opportunities to share knowledge and be actively involved in wider initiatives to promote and support the safe and effective use of bitumen”, explained ATPC’s Benoit Vandermeeren.

“As part of Eurobitume, we can also work very effectively with other like-minded stakeholders on important bitumen industry issues”.

ATPC, api and Puma Energy have all joined Eurobitume after membership of the Association was opened up to a broader range of organisations in June 2015, when polymer modified bitumen and emulsions producers; additive suppliers; hauliers and terminal operators; equipment suppliers; analysis and testing providers; and non-profit corporations, such as educational institutions, could also join Eurobitume - as well as producers and marketers of bitumen in Europe.
