Breedon Ireland strengthens the voice of the bitumen industry in Europe

Breedon Ireland Technical Director Sean Cassidy explained that the two main reasons why his company wanted to join Eurobitume were: “To access and build valuable relationships with Eurobitume’s network of bitumen players and stakeholders, and to help shape the future of bitumen standards and specifications in Europe.”

Eurobitume Director General Siobhan McKelvey commented: “I am delighted to welcome Breedon Ireland into the Eurobitume family and look forward to the additional expertise, insights and contributions they will make to our association and its members.

“Their decision to apply to join our association confirms the value organisations see from being part of Eurobitume, which continues to educate and promote the efficient, economic, effective, safe and sustainable use of refined bitumen in road, industrial and building applications in Europe.”
