Eurobitume provides the voice for bitumen on German website with focus on oil

Eurobitume Deutschland is an active supporter of and contributor to German-language website www.blickpunkt-oel.de, which highlights the importance now and in the future of petroleum products, including bitumen, because of the wide range of applications.

Created by the associations of the German mineral oil industry, the website addresses the use of petroleum-based products in our daily lives. It also regularly examines topical issues such as the mineral oil industry’s innovative work in the interests of climate protection – e.g. where it is looking at ways to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of liquid fuels in the future, or at the excellent re-usability within bituminous applications.

As well as Eurobitume, the other associations invloved in the www.blickpunkt-oel.de initiative are: Institut für Wärme und Oeltechnik e. V. (IWO), MEW Mittelständische Energiewirtschaft Deutschland e. V., Mineralölwirtschaftsverband e. V. (MWV), UNITI Bundesverband mittelständischer Mineralölunternehmen e. V. and Verband Schmierstoff-Industrie e. V. (VSI).
