Eurobitume provides voice for bitumen industry at Pro Mobilität workshop in Germany

The workshop took place in Berlin on 14 February 2019 and covered a number of important topics including the need for increased budgets for road construction and maintenance, and the recently established „Autobahn GmbH des Bundes“ - which will operate all federal highways from 1st January 2021.

“The past years have been marked by increased investments on roads, not just at a federal level. In the near future, the stable public budget contributions foreseen for road construction need to be increased,” said Eduard Oswald, President of Pro Mobilität, during the Workshop.

Pro Mobilität focusses on transportation infrastructure in Germany at a federal, regional and communal level. It also covers the personal transport and goods transport sectors, which both still predominately take place on the roads.
