New Director at Eurobitume Switzerland

Hans-Peter will promote the efficient and safe use of bitumen in road, building and industrial construction in Switzerland, and help to create a positive environment for a sustainable demand for bitumen. He brings with him extensive knowledge and many years of experience, most recently since 2006 as a specialist engineer in route construction and superstructure at the Federal Roads Office ASTRA.

Eurobitume Switzerland's new Director Hans-Peter Beyeler says: "It is a great pleasure to continue to be active in the bitumen industry. Here I can contribute my professional experience from the entrepreneurial activities in road construction, pavement treatment plants and the various tasks as a client representative in asphalt technology. Also, the work in the field of research and various pilot projects as manager and supervisor, which I supervised during my time at the Federal Roads Authority ASTRA. This will help me continue the excellent work of Heinz Rusch at Eurobitume. The innovative, safe and sustainable use of bitumen will be a central theme of my work at Eurobitume Switzerland".

In addition to his work, Hans-Peter Beyeler travels through nature on skis, bicycles, snow shoes or hiking boots according to the seasons. Family, travel, literature, music and friendships with social commitment round off his free time.
