Eurobitume DG takes on Women vs Cancer bike ride challenge

Between 5th and 7th September, Eurobitume’s Director General Siobhan McKelvey will be appreciating the benefits of cycling on asphalt when she takes part in the ‘Women v Cancer London to Paris bike ride challenge’, helping raise funds for charities fighting breast, cervical and ovarian cancers.

Siobhan is taking on the near 400km cycling challenge from London to Paris and expects to be riding the majority of the distance on asphalt roads. The challenge provides the opportunity to raise awareness of cyclists as users of roads and the importance of well-maintained asphalt surfaces, using the hashtag #cyclistsloveasphalt.

Eurobitume will be supporting their Director General in this special activity and celebrating 50 years of being a key stakeholder in the asphalt road industry!     There will be social media postings with regular updates on her progress on Eurobitume’s Social Media accounts and on Siobhan’s Twitter account.

Siobhan will be happy to receive messages of encouragement over the three days.
