New Edition: The Bitumen Industry – A Global Perspective

A widely rewritten third edition of the joint Eurobitume and Asphalt Institute publication, ‘The Bitumen Industry – A Global Perspective' (also known as IS-230), has been produced.

The new version of IS-230 provides an excellent overview of the bitumen manufacturing industry and includes a number of important changes compared to the 2011 edition:

  • A significantly revised Manufacturing section
  • Updated information on the modification of bitumen
  • Further information on occupational exposure
  • A new chapter on Health and Safety
