On October 10 and 11, the IDRRIM will hold its 4th Congress in Lille Grand Palais. Scheduled every 2 years, this event has today become a flagship event for the world of mobility infrastructures, a vector of the collective dynamics created by the diversity of actors gathered around the Institute. Nearly 500 participants from the public and private sectors are expected during these two days. As a follow-up to the debate initiated by the National Conferences on Mobility, which made it possible to recall the essential role of the road in the service of all mobility needs, the theme chosen for the 2018 IDRRIM congress is: "New functions, new services: the challenges of the road.

Through the different sessions and workshops organised during the congress, it will be a question of sharing a strategic vision of the challenges of the road by deepening the stakes linked to the development of its new services and uses, by illustrating these by the implementation of innovative projects or local initiatives then by engaging the whole of the professional community in this modern vision of a road with multiple functions and structuring the territories.
