Speaking about Eurobitume in Asphalt Pro magazine

In the interview Siobhan gave an overview of Eurobitume’s vision and mission, and highlighted some key activities and initiatives undertaken on behalf of members to create a positive environment for sustained bitumen demand.

The article stated that collaborations with organisations around the world which share a common interest with Eurobitume are a core aspect of how the Association works. Two collaborations in particular were mentioned: one with the Asphalt Institute in the United States and the other with EAPA, the European Asphalt Pavement Association – with whom we jointly organise two major international events, the Eurasphalt and Eurobitume (E&E) Congress and the E&E Event. Both are staged every four years and take place two years apart from each other: the next (7th) E&E Congress will be held in Madrid on 12-14 May, 2020, when details for the 2nd E&E Event in 2022 will be announced.

How Eurobitume supports member companies at a national level was described elsewhere in the feature, as was the increasing importance of advocacy and ensuring the voice of bitumen is heard within the many different arenas that can influence the industry.
