Paul Fitzroy - Treasurer

Paul Fitzroy, Puma’s Commercial Manager for Bitumen in Europe, was elected as Treasurer of Eurobitume at the Association’s Spring Meeting in April 2021.

An honours degree (Business and Legal Studies) graduate from University College Dublin, Paul spent 15 years at Shell before joining Puma in 2017. In Shell he held a variety of roles across their Europe/Africa bitumen division: including Supply Analyst, Pricing Manager and latterly Business Development Manager. For the past four years, he has managed Puma’s growing business in Europe, which at present is focused mainly in the UK.

Paul sits on Eurobitume’s Board of Directors and is a board member of Eurobitume’s local initiative in the UK. He also plays an active role in the Asphalt Industry Alliance, an alliance between Eurobitume UK and the Mineral Products Association, where he is a member of their Steering and PR committees. The AIA, through activities such as the ALARM survey, highlights the need for appropriate levels of continuous investment in UK road infrastructure and promotes road asset management best practice.

Before his appointment to the Eurobitume Board of Directors, Paul was a member of Eurobitume’s Public Relations and Communications committee.
