On behalf of all our members, Eurobitume is focussed on promoting the efficient, safe use of bitumen in road, industrial and building projects. And creating a positive environment for a sustained bitumen demand in Europe.
In 2020 we revised our Associate Member groups and because of growing interest in Eurobitume outside of Europe we introduced a new membership class, International Member.
During the year, global energy and commodities company Vitol joined as a Core Member and Ivory Coast-based Sociéte Multinationale de Bitumes (SMB) - a leading bitumen supplier in West and Central Africa - became Eurobitume’s first International Member.

To reflect the increased number of Spanish-speakers within Eurobitume member companies and other bitumen stakeholder organisations in Europe and further afield, we launched Spanish-language versions of the Eurobitume website and our monthly e‑newsletter.
